Kristina Marie Bolden Gilham, age 51, passed away on April 24, 2022, in Provo, Utah, surrounded by her family.

Kristina was born on July 20, 1970, in Grants Pass, Oregon, to Skip & Betty Bolden. Kris, as she was known to family and friends, was a sweet, well-mannered child who loved those around her, including her dela adored cat Mow Mow.

At the age of 12, Kris experienced kidney failure. She hardened more than 30 years of ongoing surgeries and treatments related to the condition, which took a physical and mental toll on her. Despite being in chronic pain, Kris tried to keep a positive outlook on life and did her best to carry on.

Kristina’s younger sister Heather was a lifelong friend. They both grew up in California and Kris graduated from Silver Creek High School in San Jose. Following their parents’ divorce, Kris and Heather moved to Utah with their mother.

Kris loved living near the Wasatch mountains and especially enjoyed the Alpine Loop located in American Fork canyon. She enjoyed cooking and watching movies. She loved flowers of any kind and her favorite color from her was light blue.

Kris was a ray of sunshine to all she met and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be remembered most for her kind heart and concern for others. She loved her family dela deeply, and had a special place in her heart dela for her dela nephew dela Bolden, and her niece Harper, whom she loved fiercely.

Kris is survived by her mother Betty Street (Ron), her sister Heather (Dillon), niece Jessica, nephews Bubba and Seth, and aunt Barbara. She is preceded in death by her father by her Skip.

The family wishes to thank Kris’ visiting teacher Andrea Larson. We are grateful for Kris’ friends Megan, Lisa and Jenn for their love and support. Thanks also to Tim and Stacy Bolden and Nanny Bolden. God bless you all!

A Celebration of Life for Kris will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11 am at the Mountain View 2nd Ward Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (75 S. 600 E.) in Payson, Utah .

Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Kris are invited to attend.
